Bill Hart is a sports columnist for the Penda Sports Network and all three of the Penda Publishing Company's newspapers - The Springfield Paper, The Outlook of Champaign County, and The Fairborn Paper. His work is mainly featured in The Springfield Paper, though, through his weekly commentary "Hart Sports".
Bill covers and comments on any sporting event, team, coach, or personality in southwest and central Ohio, and he comments on any sporting-related story across the nation and the world - if he sees so fit to do so. While Bill does remain neutral for the most part, he is a self-admitted homer to certain teams due to his Ohio upbringing, and he also alleges that, "you can't not root for a good story."

Bill has covered games at all levels throughout his career, all the way down to little league and all the way up to Division I collegiate sports. Most recently, Bill has covered larger events, such as the Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl in Detroit, Michigan and the McDonalds All-American games in Columbus.
Being a columnist, Bill welcomes any sort of communication.
